jack1340
I am building a bike with a speed race fans frame and it is scratched to hell at the moment and was wondering whether to raw it or paint it as I cant decide
FamilyBiker
if you raw it you´d have to polish it again every few months.looks cool though i´d paint it
Rockman
If you want a raw silver look, raw it. If you want a coloured bike, paint it.
ogre
I like raw; its easy to clean and doesnt attract filth and you can polish away scratches... and if you get the finish right all your parts will reflect off it and it looks rad

Muel
Paint. "Rawing" is soooo gay. They look like those chromed Apollos that were all the rage about 15 years ago.
J.KYDD
My Speedrace Fans when it was stripped. Loved this bike so much

ogre
Isnt cheap to do right. Few tins of stripper. Wire brushes. Wire wool. Polish and a pack of paper towels to polish and clean with...
harmertrials
Every frame i've rawed has used around half a tin of stripper, at the cost of about £6. Then just use a bit of wire wool that i've usually got kicking about and some silvo. £10 tops for the lot if you go to the right place. As for anodising, I have it very easy as my dad's got a stripping tank at his place Edited May 10, 2013 by harmertrials
