joshmann
Hi guys just looking for a bit of advice. I posted yesterday my t lite was nicked but it turns out the insurance policy is a like for like policy. They've offered me the 2013 onza pro. Do you think tthat's about right or should I push for the onza vox? Imjust not sure on the cable disc brakes on the pro and the fact the vox is a more similar weight to to the t lite than the pro. opinions gratefuly welcome. andykezzy
hi, I work in insurance. you could try and push for the higher spec, explain to them about the difference in components on each bike compared to the one that was stolen. its worth a try, all they can say is no.. joshmann
Yeah I will do bud. They were supposed to phone me back today but didnt. Their specialists looked into it and their conclusion was that the pro was the most similar one but I personally woupd say the vox. If you reviewed both bikes the pro has got to be an inferior deal surely. Suppose il have to wait and see. Thanks for the reply.
BradJohnson
If you can't push for anything else, i'd go for the Pro. awesome geo, and the spec isn't to bad either!
Kevinfor
Not sure how it works over there, but cant you just ask for money instead and get the one you want?
andykezzy
some insurance companies will do that but a lot wont as insurance is made to put you in the same positin you wer in before the claim and sending out money doesn't guarantee that, some will give vouchers for a specific shop to the value of the bike... Not sure how it works over there, but cant you just ask for money instead and get the one you want?
