Rusevelt
There seems to be quite a wide variety of high rise handlebars on the market, so what decent alternatives are there to Trialtech high risers?

LEON
Oh Jesus, i wasn't aware of that. Ali is a smooth rider too :/ Bare in mind the size of the things Ali does and the type of things he does. They're not weak bars at all, I've snapped RS7 cranks, doesn't make them weak.
Ross McArthur
The Da Bomb bars are pretty good out of the box. If you're not doing 10ft drops 10 times a day for two months they'll last a while.
Mark W
I don't think Ali was using them for the Riders Tour stuff? He was using them when we were filming for the 002 video which didn't coincide with that.
Ali C
no, I had them on for the tour too. Check out NS Proof bars too, 25.4mm clamp so you'll need a shim but still some of my fave bars ever
FamilyBiker
i´ve got blk mrkt badaboom bars, feel pretty good(got over my aluphobic phase from using syntace before lol, just change them more frequently now) theyre 76mm,have 9°back/4° upsweep. hot tip:german dealer "hibike.de":20 euros, yay edit:i agree ns proof feel great, too. i find those jitsie bars quite interesting, and getting shims would be no problem, whats the weight of them? persistant_itch
I think the ns mint comes in 31.8 and are fairly similar to the proof, bit heavier though Edit: just checked, the 2013 doesn't, its 25.4 sorry Edited April 24, 2013 by persistant_itch
inthesystem
i find those jitsie bars quite interesting, and getting shims would be no problem, ^^ thats the only thing stopping me,, i cant find the right shims, i think its 28.6 can only find 25.
FamilyBiker
i find those jitsie bars quite interesting, and getting shims would be no problem, ^^ thats the only thing stopping me,, i cant find the right shims, i think its 28.6 can only find 25.4 seatpost shims are available in steps of 0.1mm,you´ll just have to cut them to the width of the bar clamp... ran some 22.2 bars in a 25.4 stem for 2 years without any problems(shims werent included with the bars) i wouldnt be afraid of their stability, seatposts have to cope with multiple higher loads edit:there ARE 28.6 shims from procraft, too!but they cost twice as much as a seatpost shim haha Edited April 25, 2013 by FamilyBiker
