harmertrials
Hi all. I just won these on ebay for my mod - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOPE-Mono-Mini-Pro-Disk-Brake-Set-Carbon-Levers-Ti-Bolts-Gunsmoke-Grey-/281093265230?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&nma=true&si=0%252Fh4NT%252BVtwe8dJ5JBYzB2KJdUqI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc I'm wondering if I can get away with running the floating rotors or not? Also any pad recommendations or am I good to use the standards? Cheers
FamilyBiker
you´ll have to try out i think, but seeing theyre symmetrical it could work on the rear, too. edit:just relized theyre going on a mod,i´d do it Edited April 21, 2013 by FamilyBiker
bing
Can't see why not, I use ice tech rotors on my mod, and I've had no hassle. You might get a bit of play in the rivets, but other than that they should be fine

SamKidney
Id stay clear of the discs. Its been said before the Hope floating rotors aren't all too good for trials use. You could probably sell them on and have enough for a pair of decent standard rotors. Shimano Ice Tech rotors seem to be the exception to the rule... As for pads, standards should be more than up to the job. Mates jump rigs got a set of said brakes on and they're brutal.
ghostrider88
No they are way too weak for trials. One for you in the same color http://lp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb6725368/p4pb6725368.jpg Edited April 21, 2013 by ghostrider88
