biking-and-stuff
My bike is RFW and i don't want to switch to FFWso please refrain from telling me to i'm used to riding bmx so i didn't realize that the freewheels were different. I ordered a freewheel that i thought would fit, it was the type where is freewheel mechanism was attached to chainring (I'm going to call it a chainring as i don't know what to call it whens its on the back). when i took off my old freewheel i found out that the mechanism was attached to my rear hub and only the spacers and chainring came off. i am not sure when just the chainring is called so i was wondering if anybody did. also what are good ones to get (i'm on a budget so none £30+) and do you have any links to them? CurtisRider
You have a rear freehub (where the sprockets go onto a splined interface that houses the ratchet). A freewheel is is the sprocket and ratchet combined into 1 unit. You need one of these if you have spacers already: http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=58&products_id=267 Or one of these if you don't: http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=58&products_id=

CurtisRider
No worries, there are other brands to go for but Superstar are well priced, free postage and the same as everybody elses... Tarty also has a good range at good prices too! http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/splined_sprockets/c28.html
