AkuskaUK
I currently have an Echo TR front disc hub but will be building a wheel (Possibly Tuesday) and its a Hope Pro 2 Evo hub with QR. Any way i can convert it to bolt on like the TR? Thanks in advance.
Martin Reynolds
if my memory serves me right, you can get 9mm bolt through conversion, which means you only have to change the end caps.
AkuskaUK
Thanks Just found the adapters, how would it bolt onto the hub and keep it strong? My rear Pro2 has a meaty axel that runs though it, this seems to only have the end caps... would it just bolt onto that? how is there any strength there? Its like QR, just ALOT stronger.

CurtisRider
You can just drill the end caps to 9mm and use a 9mm QR through axle, I'm running one on my MTB and it has been great http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=32&products_id=286
AkuskaUK
Cheers guys, and again... i don't personally trust QR. I don't care if they are "fine" for me, i don't like them.
CalopS
I wouldn't recommend QR's for spins or gaps to 90 but for anything else I wouldn't see it been a problem. My TT QR has far outlasted the Hope QR I had if anyone looks in here for QR advice..... but yer I can wait to have bolts again!
AkuskaUK
I'm practising gaps to front at the moment, and trying to 180 to bridge a gap, I found the QR spindles used to slip or groan before, bolts are in my mind safer! Thank you for the input
