Kevinfor
Drill holes in the bottom of loger screws? Dont do it on short ones though as it may ruin the durability!

Lewis Gething
Something crazy you could do is cut your frame in half and just ditch the entire back end. Might compromise the strength a bit but give it a go if you are willing to lose the extra weight. trialsiain
i dont see the point in drilling holes in bike components too make it like 100g lighter... hardly gonna make you ride better is it

trialsiain
Just saying, I wouldnt risk my ankles by drilling holes in cranks
SamKidney
Your bike already weighs that little and you're willing to spend more money and risk the durability of several components just to have an even lighter bike? You must have a screw loose pal. Spend money on making it ride better. My Ice weighs more than some of the other mods I've ridden but its by far the nicest riding... i cant it wont let me for some reason. it weights around 7.5 -7.6 kg they are the tr ones but look the same as the new echo cranks with the three holes in them, saved like 60g
CalopS
I go to the toilet before going out to ride. That's sufficient weight saving for me. Spend more time riding and less time drilling
harmertrials
I recently built a crazy light stock, bang on 8kg. But have since swapped a few bits about and got it to nearly 8.5, yet it rides 10x better now than when it was mad light and fragile. Jake.
You don't need a bike super light, sometimes heavier is better.
