Danny00135
cool look Are, are you being serious? O.o I've heard mixed things about the frame and how comfortable it is to ride, But the forks always shine as being incredibly stiff... I'll get Brad Johnson involved in this topic.. He seems to love the one he has/had... Edited April 11, 2013 by Danny00135
Scotty Evil1
Been using a genesis frame since last June, it's been used for street, natural, shows,UCI world cups and has been spot on. No hint of damage or any weakness shown. The geo is spot on for me, I feel really compy on it. I find its a good all rounder, can handle big gaps, taps and side hops well but still feels nice and 'flicky' good on tech stuff. So yeah can fault mine really. Had a set of genesis forks for a month, so far so good!
craigjames
I'm sure issues with how comfortable the frame is to ride, is down to the set up of the bike and not so much the frame itself. The geo is very similar to a lot of popular frames. Which Limey 3 did you have? The black and silver of the white one?
aener
I've been on a few. Not particularly keen on stocks full stop, but these seem incredibly versatile. One of them is one of the few stocks I actually kinda like, and one of them is the worst abomination ever to have been bolted together. All down to the spec! aener
Yeah. I was just trying to clear up that it's not the frame's fault some people find it uncomfortable
onzatpro09
I currently have a genesis full build and I'd recommend it to anyone. Im still a bit of a noob but Geo is great in my opinion and it is a pretty frame.Plus with the correct setup, the front end is soooooo light
BradJohnson
I like mine. The geometry seems to be perfect for street and natural riding and i can even do the odd streety move, ie G-turns, 180's and manuals. The forks are also really good, they are lightweight, weighing in at around 800g which is almost 100g lighter than TrialTechs. The standard spec'd Genesis could do with a bit of improvement. The Handlebars and stem don't really suit the geo, the Brake pads and clamps could do with being changed and the tyres are terrible. Other than that the bike is awesome and only weighs just over 9kg totally standard. Here's what I've done to mine so far. Spec: Genesis Frame and forks. Tryall 3D stem Trialtech Highrise bars Onza cranks (rebadged Trialtechs) Tensile FW. Onza Magnesium pedals Onza BB Front Echo Tr Rim On Onza Hub. Rear Maestro Rim on Onza Hub. Echo Brake Clamps 2011 HS33's front and rear (New seals in each and now they don't leak) Front 7.5 mm coust pads Rear Echo CNC pads (which works surprisingly well) Rear Der kaiser tyre Front Kenda.
