I was told a 158 board should be good im 6ft-ish and will be playing around on the stunt park(?) abit also. Lessons start next month. Try boards out before you buy, height isn't the only length factor. Don't buy the best if you aren't the best. Good coat and gloves. Try lots of boots on before you buy. Learning hurts, so do rails. Luke Rainbird Posted April 8, 2013 Report Share Posted April 8, 2013 Nailed it.For simplicity though, something in the region of a 158-163 will probably do you fairly well if you're not too chunky. Buying all your own kit is a fairly large investment if you're not going to be going regularly so you may want to get a feel for it before you invest too much cash in kit - buy your clothing first, boards etc can wait.
