less offset forks

I was looking at some forks and they are 1cm less than mine offset, just wondering what stuff will be harder/easier with that ? i know gap to front should be easier since weight will be further over axel.

Front wheel moves in general should be easier. Can´t see any drawbacks, taps maybe.

Switches will be easier, wheel swaps should be easier too

depending on geo your headtube angle will steepen up by a few split degrees(you´ll hardly notice that)

and your wheelbase will shorten obviously.

if its a difference from 40 to 30,you´ll notice nearly nothing,if its from 30 to 20,there should be a minor change in steering,but imo not drastical
