Bring Back The 'Last Read' Shortcut!

Recommended Posts

Yep, that's what I mean. Not whatever the nutcase above you thought I meant. There's no structure to browsing the forum at the moment, so I'm pretty much not using it unless I'm on my phone :( I know this has happened before though during an update so I'm sure it'll get fixed once Danny or Tom see it.

Click new content at the top right of the page, if the thread name is greyish you've read it. If it's in blue there's new posts.

You can click an arrow that acts as a drop down menu and that'll show you the most recent posts in that topic, it also says how many new posts there are too. You can click 'jump to last unread post'.

Hope that helped a little.

Interestingly, if the topic is the most recent within the subforum, then you can still click the topic title on the forum home screen and it takes you to the latest post. As far as I can tell that's the only way to do it? >_<

Not sure if it's related but have only noticed the change since this tweak.

After reading through new posts and using the "Mark All as Read" link at the bottom of the page, clicking "New Content" gives a list of threads. They're non-bold so have been marked as read correctly but this used to populate an empty list. Not overly fussed if this doesn't change, but thought I'd mention it in case it messed with anything backstage :)
