trialsiain
good points of disc - better for mud and wet good hold good for modulation if you do streety moves bad - can hit them if you do alot of rocky comps or sidehop to left not as bitey as a magura
williams
Yeah Ian covers it pretty much. Maintenance is better with maguras but disc can randomly go poop aswell so don't think that they're 100% maintenance free. I like maguras most and have ridden vee's, discs and maguras. BradJohnson
You could go for a stock, they're quite fun to ride.
trialsiain
and i would keep the 24 its basically a big mod but with more room in my opinion, but its your choice
williams
Yeah I would keep the 24" aswell. Just get a brand new magura, new pads and new clamps, set it all up perfect and you aren't going to have many problems at all..
isitafox
When I finally recover, get my new frame built and get the saints on it have a go and you might change your mind. Could be a while though...

dezmtber
I think your after a custom jaf or Marino 24" Dual disc. And set of new saint or trialzone discs.

SamKidney
Go mod. 24" felt nice but odd to ride. Couldnt get mine to feel right. One setup suited some moves better than others, and when attempting to counter it it made other moves harder too. Really odd sort of ride. LOVE my Ice. Tried a stock after 24" and it felt really cumbersome and heavy. Ice is spot on. Does everything I want it to nicely while being light and flicky. Rode Hull the weekend just gone, and Im doing everything I could do on the 24" there with ease on the mod. Add some hopes/saints in the mix and you'll be laughing. dezmtber
I haven't had to replace a disc yet. Rode a full season on 160 mod, and 180 24" through this winter and 1st comp. You just get good a straightening them
