Danny00135
Simple question here... Basically, my 05 cracked as usual so I need to replace it.. I have a spare but the piston was really siezed up, I've taken the piston out of my cracked lever and the siezed piston out of my spare so I could put the one out my cracked in the spare.. My question is, before putting the piston it.. Does it need to be lubed? with what? Do I just go in dry (giggidy) Thankyou in advance
N.Wood
I lubed mine with a light oil. If you have any mineral oil I guess that would work too. Anything other than DOT or grease I'd imagine is fine.

Danny00135
Water dosent lubricate I don't think haha Given its a closed system the water can't dry out, hence it has good lubrication properties..

ghostrider88
Well it works.. for now Just use bit of a lithium grease next time, it won´t harm seals and will stay where it should for a long time.
