LiamWood!
Hit it with a hammer? It will budge, just aim as close to the bb as possible.

ghostrider88
Once you notice it´s loose, stop riding and it should be fine.

ogre
The threads in my crank are starting to go. How do I prevent further deterioration?

Revolver
Clear the threads out, and use them responsibly.
forteh
@ogre - Use grease on the extractor threads (both the ones that thread into the crank itself and on the extractor bolt) and make sure the extractor is screwed in as far as possible before trying to push the bolt though. The extractor threads on the RS7s on my intense have started to pull on one side, just take it steady and try not to shock load the threads
