jack1340
I am looking for my first trials bike after years of riding dh, just fancied something for the streets as well as my dh bike... Only problem is I don't know what wheel size to get any suggestions?
chris_trials
Depends on what kind of trials you want to ride. If you want to do static gaps/hops then a 24"/26" pure trials will suit you, especially coming from a DH background. However if you want to do more flowy bmx style riding 24" is your best bet
jack1340
What about a 20" are they for a different style of riding?
chris_trials
20" are similar to 26" and are flickier/easier to ride. They feel quite short if you're from a mountain bike background I've found. What I'd do is go on a couple of group rides, have a go on a few people's bikes and see what you think. Bear in mind that each bike is setup for that rider
jack1340
I am also 6 foot 4 if that makes a difference to the size I should get
AkuskaUK
I'm also 6"4 and I've always found 20" incredibly hard to ride. I would go with 24/26.
