picowatt
I would like some information regarding these plazmatic red CRV brake pads. Anyone have first hand experience with them. All information is appreciated. I don't think they are made anymore but I found some. Can new material be fitted into these backings If these are bad I will try rockman Blues

LiamWood!
It's the CRVs in yellow that you want.
craigjames
Didn't think that Plazmatic CRVs were made in red, of the 4 pairs i had they were all yellow. Great bite, good hold, but not great wear on anything but a smooth grind. The original Plazmatic backings were longer than normal pads and therefore refills from other brands wouldn't fit with out bodging.

There were red as a limited edition I believe http://shop.trialricany.com/?14,brzdove-spalky-plazmatic-crv , but they had the same short wear life on grind
CurtisRider
CRV backings are longer than magura ones so you would need to cut some material to fit them
picowatt
Ok. Don't want to cut material. It's expensive enough as is

It's expensive enough as is What he meant is you would have to find some larger block of polyuretane to make your own refills because other pads are shorter Which isn´t ideal if you don´t like a lot of trial/error. ghostrider88
Not as good as rockpads, but still good nonetheless.
picowatt
Rock man blues ordered. Can't wait to try them. Do they require a sharp grind or does any grind work?
ghostrider88
They work great on any type of gring, but sharp medium grind is the best of course.
