isitafox
Anyone got any good ideas of how to remove a stuck piston from an 05 magura body? I would use an airline and blow it out but I'm at work and haven't got one handy, would it help if I bathed it in a sink of hot water to try and make the lever body expand enough for the piston to pop out? Mark W
It's worth keeping an eye on as it's coming out, so open your eye really wide when you're doing it and try and look straight down the cylinder
isitafox
Track pump and bleed hose. Just my luck my pump is under the wifes pushchair! It's worth keeping an eye on as it's coming out, so open your eye really wide when you're doing it and try and look straight down the cylinder Tried this before when I was trying to work out why the hosepipe was blocked

isitafox
I enjoy a good banging! Would appear the piston is swollen to f**k, not sure what it's supposed to be like but there's barely any difference at all between the piston and the o ring. isitafox
Well, apparently I'm quite mistaken and the fact the piston was so obscenely tight in the lever is nothing to do with the fact it has swollen and was in fact my fault for trying to lube it depending on what type of lube you have used to oil the front piston it could be stick up there via suckstion
customrider-Rhys
thats crap you need to lube it! mineral oil, finish oil, or Vaseline would do it
