trials hoe
Right, so the tt bb's have a spacer on the drive side cup to allow them to be used as a 73mm bb if you take it off. I've looked on tarty and they don't stock them as spares and i need the spacer (to run it in a 68mm frame) is it as simple 'fix' as I'm thinking it will be?. Have had a look on crc and hope do a spacer ( http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=36416 the 2.5mm one ) that is aimed at the hollow tech bb's (or whatever they're called, I have no experience with them) and I'm pretty sure that they fit in a 68mm shell frame same as a 'normal' bb within the same threads ect. So will the linked spacer fit/work and sort the offset to a being like a 68mm bb (like it would be with the tt spacer supplied with the bb that I don't have)? Other wise it'll be offset towards the non-drive side of the frame, while it might not be hugely noticeable I'll know and that'll be enough to piss me off no-end. cheers in advance Chris
Neon-trials
Yea it will be a quick fix I'm running a trialtech bb with the spacer in a 68 mm frame and its spot on Leigh
bing
Its just a standard bb spacer with trialtech wrote on it. Just get a 2.5 mm spacer off crc, its the same thing

Jamie_Neal
I used a spacer from a cassette I'd taken apart, seems to work.

Your running your spacer to avoide the freewheel/ crank rubbing on either frame or magura aren't you ? I'm confused why you need to use this spacer for any other reason. I don't run any spacers with my trial tech bb

Ah ok I see, mine is fairly old now not sure if it says that. Personally if your chain line is ok and cranks don't rub I would do with out that spacer and have more threads of the bb cut in the frame as they are short on the trial tech cups
