matthew_coggan
Bassicly my lever when I pull it in then let it go it pops back to far, but if i let it out slower it goes to where it should. The lever can also be bent rigth round so it comes out the piston. How can I solve this? pic isnt my brake but the same one.
dezmtber
You need a new circlip to hold the piston in the brake sounds like it failing. Or missing

Rockman
Yeah it still works fine just the lever pops out to far You need that link I just posted, I hit my lever and it popped through the washer. It's just to save the brake from getting badly damaged if you hit the lever. Same idea as the stop plates on the Trial Zones
dezmtber
http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/disc_brake_spares/hope_lever_piston_circlip/c110p11214.html Get the clip as well. You will need a 2mm Allen key to remove the push rod from the lever. And some small circlip pliers to fit the new washer and circlip. Problem solved If you aren't sure how to do the repair all you need is here http://www.hopetech.com/page.aspx?itemID=SPG144
