Mark W
The back end looks really widely spaced for some reason. Makes it look cool in any case, as does the rest of the frame

Mark W
This is primarily a trials forum, so people are going to assume that if you start talking about frames in a topic where people are talking about trials frames, it's going to be fairly natural for people to assume that you're talking about trials frames (especially bearing mind it's pretty obvious that 'other' frames wouldn't have that kind of gusset because they employ a totally different design, with different . With that context, and bearing in mind your history for fairly constant Marino promotion, it's not exactly hard to see that people might suspect it's another "+1" for Marino products. I'm not saying whether it was/wasn't, but yeah, I can see why it might come across that way. I know you've said in the past that sometimes you're "just joking", but it seems like it might just be getting lost in translation or something...
FamilyBiker
seems like you know me good now, haha and not. staying on topic with trials itself, most trials frames dont need it. doesnt change how it was meant in my mind,as a pure comment Edited March 17, 2013 by FamilyBiker
dezmtber
You know other frames don't have those but jaf frames do so just what is your point. Can I chat about a frame. I was going to ask how stiff it felt without the braces in place ? Will Ali and family biker please stop trolling anything jaf related. Ali C
I'll do that if you kindly stop posting utter shite all the time...thanks Not that I actually troll Jaf threads
Rob Leech
you know most frame don't have those right? most dont need them :wink2: With this frame, it's not a matter of needing the gussets, but the customer wanting them. With my frames, if I can supply it, the customer gets it first time round. One of the joys of being a fully customized design and build . wasnt pointed on anything, just meant like bmx frames dont have those, mtb dj frames and others, havent too. you dont have to think everything i say is a subtle point on marino. its okay now, war´s over Marks pretty much covered this one, but i feel that the fact you're being a tool has to be added. Of course other frames don't have them, most frames don't utalize a single piece seat stay, but this one does. Adding gusseting to reduce flex is a good design choice at the end of the day. Also, if you're adamant that this style of seat stay dosen't require gusseting, what's going on here? - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/181068-marino-parousia-build-thread/page-2# Josh. EDIT - Sorry, I think I might of misunderstood which gussets you guys were talking about. Still, no, the frame didn't really need them, but I wanted them at the time, as did Dez, so again, if it's what the customer wants, it's what they get .
