swiftspeed star
Hi, Anyone ever used the superstar red pads? If so what they like with a grind? Thanks
TrialsIsHard
If they are the super cheap ones, I've ridden a bike with them on. They were run on a super harsh grind, had a reasonable bite but little hold. If you haven't got much money, and won't be doing large gaps/drops you might be ok.. providing you're not too heavy either! I must emphasise the grind was seriously harsh though. swiftspeed star
they are £6 i weigh 9 stone and will be doing drops upto maybe 1.5m tops and gaps similar
TrialsIsHard
For £6 you can always buy some and it's not the end of the world if they are rubbish, if I were you I'd go straight for a pair of Trial Tech sport pads. They aren't hugely expensive and are definitely good enough for what you want Edited March 6, 2013 by TrialsIsHard

bing
Onza pads on a par with heatsink yellows? I think not, I know because I've had both. Nothing I've tried is on a par with heatsink yellows, and I've tried quite a lot of pads, including tnn's and rockmans. In a cnc backing, they are the best pad there is in my opinion
CC12345678910
no not on a par. but damn near considering price. But only the greens, somehow the yellows are crap. and i've had both too! I think Yellows are the best too.
