trialsmax04
Hi everyone, A good friend of mine (well known in the south west) Chris Jones has set up a charity for the designing and manufacturing of affordable adaptive mountain bikes for disabled people. Chris is a disabled soldier that has lost the majority of the use of his legs. Dispute this, he has been riding (and racing!) downhill and trail on a fully rigid adapted hand bike. His mission is to bring disabled mountain biking to the masses, by producing affordable, well designed bikes, up to the task. Please check out his Facebook page, for latest news, and fundraising information. Even if it is just a "like" it helps to spread the message. Revolver
Saw the cover photo on that FB page, why did he go for FWD? I suppose a RWD design might be a lot more complicated. Edited March 5, 2013 by Revolver
Tomm
Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Vy_5teig5zs#! Looks rattly as anything but fun! Good luck to the guy. Revolver - his current bike (that he bought) is FWD, but the one he wants to make is RWD with two wheels at the front.
