Danny00135
Just after some that stay bright for longer and of course sound fantastic, I use Martin SP 11s at the moment, just a little skint at the moment so don't want to go around trying loads out. Really need some since when they go poop my intonation goes way out :/ Edited March 3, 2013 by Danny00135
Madrider143
I just put elixirs on my acoustic, they are the brightest strings i've ever used! so loud aswell.Well worth the extra cash.I normally use d'addario exps though. On my electric though,i've got dunlops at the moment, which are great, but i'd reccomend DR strings. Hope that helps a little there are so many out there! just a bit of trial and error really

persistant_itch
http://www.daddario.com/DADMobileProductsFamily.Page?ActiveID=3766&category=Acoustic+Strings I've been using d'addario strings for a good few years on my tak and I think they're lovely, elixirs are nice too though
Ben Cox
Using martin m175's, nice and bright and have held their tone for ages!
JDâ„¢
D'Addarios all the way.
Matthew62
I just restrung my Martin today with D'addorio EXP's on a few recommendations. Apparently they're coated so last a bit longer and are brighter than usual. So far they're a bit too bright for me and have made my guitar sound a bit average but once they bed in hopefully they'll be better. Very tempted to go back to Martin strings in future though. Danny00135
Cheers for the responses guys, used to use D'addario strings on my electric, never got on with them so I've not touched them since.. :/
Revolver
Anyone know where to get nylon wound strings? My mum's been after them for ages, rather than being plain nylon they're steel cored with thinner nylon wrapped round, or so I'm told.
