Love it, I kept fancying the carbon 456, even more so when they where on offer but nothing else of Mine was lightweight :P

I'm seriously tempted by a 456 as well! A race weight 150mm travel hardtail sounds somewhat appealing! :P Having ridden them against the steel, it's probably worth noting the Steel was actually funner to ride as I was worried about hurting the Carbon! Although the straight off 1kg weight saving was enough to make it nicer to ride over a whole day!

This makes me happier than a bike should.

I'm just waiting for the photographs from the Enduro race I did yesterday to come out! Even after 50 miles I was loving how she rode, and grinning like an idiot!

Just need to wait to get into work to grab some spokes, and then I can build up the Octane One rim onto the front. Also got a new saddle and rotor in the post to make it all look a bit more rad! The plan is to throw the XT brakes from my On One onto here once I can afford some XTR Races for the her.

As I am clearing out and tidying up the workshop, I might as well get pictures of everything up! This is my '98 Stumpjumper M2, currently singlespeed and rigid for that all out hardcore look! Although usually resigned to commute duties, she gets the occasional whizz around the local singletrack every now and then!

She is soon being transferred into a geared On One 456 or Inbred for my dad however... sad times!

here is my baby, proposed plans are some RC34 Forks, clip in pedals of some sort, some decent tubeless tyres LUST i reckon and a dropper post. I cannot wait to get some money!

I also plan to strip the frame down entirely and powder coat it white.

I also recently designed a replaceable carbon tube version or the santa cruz nomad, considering making that to see how it does, but needs work still. maybe by the end of next year :)
