Jake.
What's wrong with the tensile 96click? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Onza-Freewheel-Tensile-18T-Clicks/dp/B0063HGN14
ghostrider88
It's such a bad situ as they are the best freewheel but they're also not at the same time Well said.
CC12345678910
Tensile 96? not much wrong strength and reliability wise, but the lockring self-loosened on my example after about 3 months and then over the next month would not stay tight. Then it sh*t is guts all over my sidehop preload so I abandoned it to the tool box. But i reckon i could make it work again if need be. Just gonna superglue the lockring shut like we did to ACS claws back when, after putting new internals in of course. Jake.
My tensiles lockring has never loosened?
CC12345678910
Yeah I didn't get it either. 60's are fine (owned 4 of them at last count) and so was the 96 upto that 3 month point, then it didn't like me anymore and went to rat droppings. LiamWood!
Andy went front freewheel this year. The one in November could have been chris's sl that shit itself.
ghostrider88
Another pawl snapped after hour of riding, I´m getting pretty pissed.
bing
Gotta love internet hearsay, haha. It's not hearsay mate, he went ffw in January, and had the pro 2 on up until that point. Chris's freewheel shat itself on a ride we had in Scunthorpe in November, I was there when it happened. Why would I make it up and why is it hearsay? Was only saying how it happened, that's it
BradJohnson
One of my mates Echo totally seized up mid ride and turned his bike into a fixie. Also saw a lad in leeds crack an outer ring on one. Still the best FW know to man though!
LiamWood!
How are they though? From what I've seen, it's only the older ones which lasted? These new ones are just shite, I don't trust mine at all. The tensile on my old adamant I trusted 100%, I think it was coming up to 2 years old and never skipped once on me. New deng is shite.
chris H
I have a tensile 60 click that is over 5 years old. I know people like to claim freewheel never skip or make a bad noise, but this generally hasn't.
trialsiain
I've seen there new forks bend, ther cranks out of line and now there freewheels not looking good
Blake
It's a shame that new stuff coming out isn't something that people can 100% trust. This is why hope hubs are ace.
bing
Have to agree, my bulb on the back of my stock is ace. Know it's a bit old like, but you can feel the quality. My tryall ffw isn't doing too badly either, still skip free
Pugson
What a complete surprise, Mark W wades into a discussion insinuating that one of the local lads is a liar. Its fact what was said about Andy's freewheel! Awaits comments from Ali C, and rebuke from moderators for daring to cross the popular forum users.

ghostrider88
think I've seen the tryall ones skip a few times, depends how much power you're putting through My try all 108.9 hadn´t skipped once in three years, then I sold it and it´s still going strong after another 2, wish I have kept it. dngr2self
The new Echoes that I've seen break all seem to shatter on the outer ring. I understand that it's probably a small percentage of all the echo freewheels sold that do this but I've seen it happen to 4 in about 6 months which made me dubious when buying a freewheel. Really? I know a mate who runs a try all 108,9 freewheel on his bike, it skips all the time. Sounds so shit aswell!
LiamWood!
SL doesn´t skip either, they only skip when pawl´s broken... The prawls shouldn't break full stop. Paying that much for a freewheel, it shouldn't brake within such a short period of time. They are just shite. End of.
