Furthermore THIS people (work-eat-sleep people, WES people) are teaching others how to live, tells others how "WRONG" they living their life and how they small(implying that person who they teaching is "a child") mentally and also that people who not lives WES way are infantile. So what do you think about it and how you live like? I don't want to live WES way. I want to have much free time, at least much enough to satisfy myself. I have many interests and want to go far in all of them. I just don't understand how all this people can live like that. They have no interests in life? They are too stupid and live like the others because others live like that(millions of people can't be wrong)? Or if they don't like the way they live why they not changing anything? I'm pissed off because of that people telling they f stupid opinions like "RIDING ISNT SERIOUS, YOU NEED TO BUY A CAR!" Or "PARKOUR IS FOR KIDS! BICYCLES IS FOR KIDS! ADULTS GOING TO WORK AND DO NOTHING ELSE!" They ideal life is to get some high post in "cool" big company that allow them to buy new iphone every time it released plus some clothes and "cool" car to show off. I have only one life and life is truly a short affair. It is better to live doing the things that you like. It is foolish to live within this dream of a world seeing unpleasantness and doing only things you do not like. Jolfa
Why work instead of 24/7 fun? To pay your own way in life rather than living off the state, stuff is not free.

I'm not saying "WORK IS SHIT DONT GO TO WORK blah blah". Anyway you need money to live and almost every hobby isn't free. I'm just don't understand people who works for 8-12+ hours/day. Why? I already said. Life is here and now, not then.
HippY
I will work with computers. Big computers. But honestly, I will not work a day. Because that s my hobby. If would be at home wth loads of money, I would do that too. You do not like it? Good. Do somethng against it. But do not forget. You are living for yourself. If someone says You need to buy a car, then you do not really need to buy one because he told so. you are your own boss.

anzo
If people didn't work 12 hour says who would design the bikes you ride, who you manufacture them, who would work in another job to save money to start their own business to sell the bikes you ride. You work for what you get. You can chose to do stuff all and work part time for the rest of your life if you want, but what on Earth gives you the right to tell others not to work long hours just because you can't be arsed to.

Luke Rainbird
So find a job you enjoy in order to fund a lifestyle you enjoy too? Fairly simple really, work to live rather than the other way around and you're onto a winner.

Rich J
I've pretty much no idea what your on about but I think I agree with you. I see all these things and would love to do, I struggle to understand when people aren't bothered by the idea of travelling and seeing the world, however I know I have to WES especially S to get to do those things. King C
Ironically enough, I was having this conversation at work with a guy who has just announced that he's leaving to go travel and see the world for 4/5 months. I enjoy what I do and where I work, I've made friends with all my colleagues so it really isn't that much of a chore. That said, I do definitely enjoy my time off (weekends/evenings etc) and don't think I would nearly as much if I didn't work. I think I'd get bored of "luffin life" if I did it 24/7. I'm not entirely sure I got the point though, that first post is really hard to read.
Jolfa
I'm not saying "WORK IS SHIT DONT GO TO WORK blah blah". Anyway you need money to live and almost every hobby isn't free. I'm just don't understand people who works for 8-12+ hours/day. Why? I already said. Life is here and now, not then. Different people need to earn different amounts of money to fund their different lifestyles. If I didn't work similar hours to what you said I wouldn't have any of the nice things I have. I've had a month off between jobs and I've just turned into a lazy b*****d and it's boring. Would love to go travelling but for this I will need some thousands of pounds, which isn't just going to appear is it, and working part time so I can live life to the fullest isn't a viable solution. So basically your entire philosphy is to earn/work the bare minimum you can afford so you can live in the moment (read: hand to mouth). Imagine if you worked 8-12 hours a day, earnt decent money so you could do something amazing in the long term instead... That or obviously get a job with short hours and MEGA pay - if it was that easy, everyone would do that. P.S - I haven't watched, and have no plans to watch the videos you've posted. If it's any consolation I used to have the same attitude when I was about your age, until realised what a f**khead stoner way of thinking it was. shercofray
I have a set figure of what I need to retire. Once I get this I will be able to live the life I want too. Have a goal, be focused, and you can achieve what you want. We all have the same amount of time (subject to not dying unexpectedly) so time is most important. If you can survive working 2 days a week in a tiny flat but loving the free time - I say do it. But it depends on what lifestyle you want.
