AndrewEH1
Hey, Anyone here had experience of buying already register domains from their owners? One I'm after is a blank page that has been registered in USA for over 12 years. The company who 'owns' it is a web hosting company in El Paso. Thoughts? Note: I already have the .co.uk version but I'm after the .com Edit: Just had a wee poke about and it looks like the only website using the domain is a sub-domain for a orchestral conductor... Muel
All you can really do is to run a who.is check on the domain and if some contact details come out of it, contact them and make them an offer.I believe companies like Go Daddy offer a service where they'll try to get it for you, for a cost... Danny
http://trialsforum.co.uk/ We had to buy one off someone else for work and i think it ended up costing about a grand. Contact em via the whois info and see what they say.
Revolver
How can that redirect to British Airways?
TrialsRob
I think people buy up domains as a gamble sometimes knowing that they might eventually get a domain that someone is willing to pay alot for, Often I've found that soon after buying a few domains (of the same name) for myself I find that the remaining ones have all also gone a few weeks later
