Greetings
I'm looking for a new phone. Been using an HTC Desire Z for the last 1,5 years and need a phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that's a significant upgrade over my current phone - quicker, larger screen, better camera. I've been googling this for the past hour or so and just got more confused, as far as I can tell almost all the phones I found are old and would be a downgrade, with the only upgrade being a Motorola Photon Q which is unavailable in Europe Help? Kevinfor
I dont think they make them with the slide out anymore as full touch is far more desirable by most.
anzo
http://uk.blackberry.com/smartphones/blackberry-p9981/overview.htmlEdit: missed the slide out keyboard - so ignore my suggestion, but it's a nice looking phone!
Greetings
Meh, looks like I'll have to go over to a software keyboard. f**king hate them. Perhaps with a larger screen it won't be that difficult. So what seems to be the android phone of choice these days? Galaxy S3 / HTC One ? Muel
I have a galaxy S3, it's fantastic, but I can't type on it to save my life, but that's just because I have very fat thumbs and arthritis. (Yes, 22 and it's already starting to get pretty bad. I am not looking forward to being 50).

omgnoseat
I have been waiting incredibly long for a decent phone with a slideout keyboard, but they never seem to appear Your only hope would be to look into importing for asia. TrialsIsHard
Could the Blackberry Torch be the answer to your questions? http://uk.blackberry.com/smartphones/blackberry-torch-9810.html
Pashley26
I find it impossible to type on my S3 too; my S2 was undeniably a more usable phone. I wish I still had my S2

Jake.
Those of you that are struggling to type on the S3's default keyboard... Get "swiftkeys" I can now type blindfolded, it's amazing. 1 month free trial from the play store and if you like it, it's £4. I paid the £4. Mike Deere
S3 + Swype = fastest most accurate text input on any mobile device I've ever experienced. Including T9 on old skool Nokias. Edited February 24, 2013 by Mike Deere
