BradJohnson
I've just put a new seal in my rear maggy, and put on a 4 finger lever. I did a nice water bleed on it, put it back on my bike and it feels like its bled with oil and in general it just feels crappy. I've re-bled several times and it just feels the same. Could the piston of swelled, or is there another explanation of what could be wrong.

N.Wood
Lightly sand piston down, lube with oil, re fit and see...
BradJohnson
brake clamps too tight? Nope, tried this. Lightly sand piston down, lube with oil, re fit and see... I've slightly sanded it, but didn't want to go to mad in case i caught the seal, 'cause i don't have a seal pick to take it off and don't want to damage it. dann2707
Use a really thin screwdriver. Pinch the seal with your finger and thumb so it creates a small gap then put the screwdriver in that. Even a small pointy knife works. trials hoe
my tr was a bit sluggish and shitty feeling in general after i put my splitter on, pulled the lever in (without the pads setup so i had full lever travel) and let go so it 'flicks' back and it sorted its self out after a few goes of that. tried that? liam n
take the O ring seal off, as Dan said. I use a needle though, then just sand it down till it slides in nice and put the O-ring back on.
