bing
Ah fair enough. Bing made me think you'd done something with the standard caps but I didn't think that'd work. All I did was tap the end caps to an m6 thread, instead of qr, but as I mentioned its far too flexible, I'm not a fan, so until my Beaden patented solid pro 2 axle arrives, I'm on qr. that's the only ownside to hope hubs, lack of bolt on options for the fronthttps://m.facebook.com/?refsrc=http://www.facebook.com/&_rdr#!/photo.php?fbid=10151345311528570&id=726163569&set=a.10150135340563570.300880.726163569&__user=614192635'>https://m.facebook.com/?refsrc=http://www.facebook.com/&_rdr#!/photo.php?fbid=10151345311528570&id=726163569&set=a.10150135340563570.300880.726163569&__user=614192635 That's the one Euan did and it looks so good too. Edit: what's wrong with qr? I'm soon to be the owner of one of these Edited February 11, 2013 by bing

AdamR28
All I did was tap the end caps to an m6 thread, Yeah, that doesn't work - there's nothing holding your fork legs together! Re-using the Hope end caps and drilling them out to 10mm is best IMO, since then they match the hub and have the steel serrations. The axle bit that goes in the middle is dead simple then too. bing
Seriously?! Lol. Yes seriously, I've never had a hope hub on the front before, didn't know until I got it in bits. It was at that point I found the error of my ways. Euan's solution seems the best engineered to me, I'll feedback when its on
monkeyseemonkeydo
Hehe, fair enough. I'm surprised you didn't have to take the end caps out to tap them. Euan's system looks nicely made but not exactly featherweight!
bing
I did, I got the bloke in the toolroom at work to do it for me, it wasn't until I got back home I realised the f**k up
