I had a ride of a similar one and didn't think much to it, it felt 'lazy'

The 5mm BB difference actually does make a difference.

my echo 24, only with -

2013 sl cranks,

a smattering of ti bolts

ti bb + fw + sprocket

oh, some carbon disc forks whenever someone gets round to making them (Y)

My Echo 24 is pretty much the best i can get it, unless i shed loads of money out for Ti bolts and FW/sprockets

But i find side hops hard on it, and gaps take so much effort.

you could shed a load of weight with the tyre setup you have, mine was 9.2/91 i think before i changed mine. still can't grasp how the 2013 sl cranks are just shy of 200g lighter than my tryalls though.

my stock did gap better, but the 24 feels like it fits me better....if that makes sense?

You want some born cranks, they're 300g

Really?

I've had a go on Ross', which feels the same as my ideal build would do, but with a slightly different spec felt amazing.

So so so nice on the rear wheel, goes to front like a charm and shoots up to rear. I can sidehop it miles better than my mod/24" too.

Fit me so well. Instantly comfortable on it.

You need to have a ride of Adam Baxters ZHI, it's amazing!
