Sam Song
How are they compared to SD7s? Are SD7s really that much better? I'm just asking this, because I am trading my Hope trials brake for a bb7 and the other guy has the FR5 lever on his bb7.
Blake
I prefer FR5's as they look cleaner. But I never use the speed dial anyway

Ali C
speed dial on the SD7 is awesome, but probably more useful on a V rather than a BB7
dann2707
FR5 is distinctly average. Noticed alot more power when I changed to an sd7. Everything seemed so much smoother.
cai
The SD7 allows you to alter how much leverage you have at the lever, which is very useful. Where as you cant alter the FR5.
eskimo
FR5 ***. Felt better than any other lever i ever used for Vs. The SDs were always flexy feeling with the cable despite the 'adjustment', and they were often square. ewwwww [edit] forthewin stared out, lame. thought that got fazed out. LEON
I used an fr5 for a bit on a V and a BB7 and it was horrible, it's as if it doesn't pull as much cable an an SD, it's more simple and has no features really. But to me it felt very cheap, pay the extra & get a good lever.
