i think it was more a project with optical aspect in mind.

in a trials forum you should show something more technically correct.

but in real life it wouldnt work

to get a clue on geo use www.bikecad.ca

edit:if it just were an autobot, not a decepticon...

Geo is the next: wheelbase 1025mm, chainstay 385mm, bb rise +25mm, head angle 73Ëš It's from an old pic thath i got wich is a 24UK technical draw. This future model was my first frame which I made in solidworks. I started learning about 4month ago this software.

Yes the transformable frame stemp etc.. sounding good :D

Here is my other works: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.504779962884319.125464.100000569580827&type=1&l=e30402c08b

How will the four bolt mounts work? The gusset between the top and down tube are hideous, the head tube angle looks far too slack.

I want to make a rear hub for this frame, If i got freetime (=

solidworks is ace for making southpark drawings :)

Really?? Solidworks is a 3D CAD modelling program... I study product design and use it for project development and visualisation. Why would you use it for 2D drawings?

Nice work, I'm thinking of modelling a frame and some components soon. Do you use it for a particular course?

I'm learning IT engineering and I learned SW there. If u want to design a frame u have to use well planes and mostly lofted boss base and watching a lot of tutorial :D and practicing a lot.

Haha fair enough fella.

Thats cool, I only really started using Solidworks last year, but its very similar to things I've used in the past... very easy to pick up. New planes is the key to making cool stuff, you should look into using composite curves (i think thats what they are called) you can get some really complex lines.
