Sam Nichols
That quick release on the front wheel is really bothering me!
isitafox
I know it's petty but the front quick release being on the driveside and not lined up with the fork would really wind me up. Makes me wanna jump in the car and put it right! I'm right handed, so when leaning over the bars to tighten/loosen the QR, its on my correct side. Plus, lined up with what? The fork leg? If you do that the QR wouldnt be fully tightened and/or its a bitch to loosen with my fanny busting fingers. i concur with that. he does it with every bike he has a QR on the front...it bugs me too. This has been noted on previous bikes!
Brettoll
How much are the frames delivered?
Sam Nichols
Function over form I guess. QR aside the bike's a real beauty, looks awesome.
Ross McArthur
Ali, the bars as you say feel great at the moment. Wider, and more importantly, higher than TTs. (the only other real option for me as most "high rise" DH bars at the moment are horribly "flat"). I noticed in pictures from the Dressler Camp that your bars hand become very flat and bent. I take it that was Anna and not the 10ft Clan drops you were doing countlessly over the summer? Yea, see above for the QR comments. Cheers Dave. Brettoll pm'd. I think im going to go for a rear magura and a front disc. Despite what people are going for nowadays in the way of rear discs on 24s, I still firmly believe that there’s nothing wrong with a well set up magura. There’s more scope when it comes to choosing what you want your brake to feel like with a Magura. Booster on, no booster - 2 bolt, 4 bolt . Metal backed pads, plastic backed pads. No grind, grind. Hard pads, soft pads. Set the slaves far from the rim, close to the rim.... you get the idea. Personally I prefer to run a 2 bolt carbon booster, metal backed LGM pads, water bleed on a "used" grind. No matter what, I think it just feels more solid than a disc. No pad wobble on the rear wheel, no contamination issues that can’t be solved with a simple wash, no landing on the rotor either. Having said all of that, im not a disc hater. I have tried a certain persons 24 with dual Saints and that felt pretty good. But knowing that person, they wouldn’t be running those discs unless they felt perfect.

Brettoll
Was thinking if it is the same price as the usuals, is that still 280USD plus 65USD speedy shipping? Do you know whether Marino has candy apple green in his paint supplies? Finally, is he ever going to get round to making forks to go with the frames?
