valk
Pan to the floor always works. or the sky, to make it cheesy.
Revolver
That hand to the lens is called a STAMP, and to go one level up, you can stamp it with your crotch.
bikeperson45
I don't mind panning to the ground so much, it's people constantly using film burn that get on my nerves. Especially in scooter videos, as if they weren't cringy enough
Sam Nichols
The pan to the ground is more to do with maintaining the flow of a clip where you're tracking the rider and less about trying to be artistic. It looks pretty gash if you're following a rider through a line and then as soon as he finishes the camera stops dead in it's tracks. Funny video though. eskimo
ahahah, nice! Though i do like lens burn and floor fade throughs now and again. I did some bike throwing in videos before, definitely half way there. You did forget filming the rider not riding, filming traffic and wildlife (those really do my nut), filming the bike frame (yes tgs), aperture effects, and the use nothing but a huge fisheye on a dlsr for 'better shots'. Ross McArthur
But, how do you film a natural video?
Luke Rainbird
1. Smear vaseline over the lens 2. Get your best climbing gear on for those BIU sections 3. Find the worst camera angle you can 4. Upload in 240p*Note: Sweeping generalisation used for comic effect. It is not the view of Trials-Forum nor Luke Rainbird that all natural vids are filmed in this manner.

eddbmxdude
Haha, cheers guys. Im too street to film natural vids. My snapback would get dirty from fallin gin the mud. Gotta admit, I do like panning to the floor sometimes and film burn can work sometimes. Was more to poke fun than anything else. eskimo
This one was always fun, not seen many trials vids like it for a while though. Everyone's changed their style now, allot to yours Edd.
