beedlo
Did anyone get the chance to try these pads? Brandon
bing
Not tried em yet bud, got em for spares when I change disks. Tried some Ashima pads, they were quite good, but not as brutal as the goodridge pads I have in now
beedlo
Thanks Bing, will give the Goodridge and Ashimas a try.

beedlo
Bought a handful to try: Nukeproof Enduro* - Initial bite not as sharp as the stock metal pads. Hold is *slightly* better than the stock metal pads. Lever feel is a bit spongy compared to other pads. RWD Organic - Currently bedding them in. Not impressed so far. Will update after a few rides. A2Z Organic (blue) - Initial bite not as sharp as the stock metal pads. The hold is much better than the other pads I have tried, including stock metal and resin pads. I would recommend these. Superstar Organics - Pretty poor bite compared to stock metal pads. Hold was no better than stock metal pads. Nukeproof DH - Haven't tried them yet. I have five unused Superstar Vibe rotors to test with, one for each pad. Bedding in consists of sprinting and braking. Letting them cool down completely when they are HOT. * Found out they don't make the Nukeproof Trial pads for the M640/M810/M820 anymore. dezmtber
I would recommend rubbing the disc rotor with wet and dry between changing pad compounds as the pads used leave a residue on the rotor, that in some cases won't work well with different compound pads. Ali C
just a heads up, http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=47502 Those work quite well with a little modification (need to cut off the corner stubs and bend the spring a little). I've got the sintered ones and I'm pretty impressed. I've not tried the organic ones yet but I've never found organic to have enough bite for my liking. bing
Ah right. With being injured I've not had chance to experiment, at the moment I have good ridge sintered pads in, and they are/were brutal. Ill bear it in mind dude
