jmfitchett
Hey I'm new to trials and I was wondering if curved forks or straight forks would be better for street trials?
Jake.
What bike? Straight forks in trials are never truly straight, take echo urban for example. They're the same geo as forks that have a curve.
CalopS
Inspireds or Trialtechs. Depends on the bike.
showurcolours
Yeah I'll jump on this for a sec, What forks would everyone recommend for a Zoot?

AndrewEH1
Zoot? I'd go for any of the Inspired Fork range. Generally for 'Streety/BMX' trials go for Inspired forks, for street trials (eg. Echo 24" or mod/stock) go for Trialtechs.

Generally for 'Streety/BMX' trials go for Inspired forks, for street trials (eg. Echo 24" or mod/stock) go for Trialtechs. All of the inspired range are silly expensive, heavy and are pretty much disk only. I'm not swopping my front vee for a disk just to use marginally lighter forks. Thanks anyway though, I'll end up getting Urbans most likely
CalopS
Better get two sets as they won't last compared to Inspireds. Inspireds weigh 5 grams more than Trialtechs and both are largely used by the trials community. There not heavy. fair enough about them not doing a vee option though..... I can't find TT forks on tarty, yeh the whole vee thing is the major issue really. I have heard that about Urbans though
CalopS
The 26" and 24" Inspired forks are the same fork so I was comparing them to TT 26" forks. My urbans didn't last very long. I guess it depends what kind of a rider you are.
Blake
Nick cooke ran a front V on his inspired
Lewis Gething
Everyone will hate me here, but I used Echo SL's on my Inspired and they were fine Then again I am very smooth on my equipment and don't do hooks...

CalopS
Yer that is me. The guy who actually rides something similar to what the guys asking about. I'll put it another way. They don't even do the lites in a 24 which basically says everything. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/24_inch_forks/c539.html
jmfitchett
I was looking online and on www.rocknrollbikes.com they sell the Onza PRO forks which are apparently the same as the inspired forks.
