trials hoe
so i have a tr rear brake and the hose needs shortening, ive been putting it off for ages 'cos i can't be arsed with bleeding it while its cold outside but it needs doing. my question is, is there any difference between the two (mechanically/performance wise)? i have some 04 era slaves kicking about and was thinking i might stick em on if there is going to be any benefit of me doing so while its all apart. cheers in advance guys . SamKidney
Nah. If they're working keep them. I like how slim they are in comparison to the mag slaves. Pads seem to be a better fit in them too, less wobble.
Blake
Is there any difference in 04/05 magura slaves? how can you tell they're different?

trials hoe
There isn´t any besides color. that at me or drstix?, the tr slaves are smooth where the cylinder washers sit and the maggie's have grooves, makes me wonder if the internals are the same too (piston diameters and the like). ghostrider88
That was at stix, if TR calipers don´t leak, I would stick to them, they are lighter, smaller and like Samuel pointed out machined to tighter tolerances, so pads don´t wobble so much.
