Muel
Step 1: Take the test: http://www.ukcitizenshiptest.co.uk/ Step 2: Vote to say whether you passed. Step 3: Comment on how ridiculous it is.

Jake.
You have failed the practice citizenship test. Questions answered correctly: 10 out of 24 (42%) Time taken: 04 minutes 58 seconds What I don't understand is why we need to know how exactly how many teens in the UK there are, how many immigrants, and where they came from.... HippY
I am an immigrant here( have not applied for the citizenship though) but i could not answer for most of the questions related to my homecountry, like in 2001 how much muslims were here exactly (?), which year were you able to divorce or how much teenager there. well, it was strange
Sam Nichols
I pretty much guessed everything because I didn't have a f**king clue. Then again, I don't want to live in this country so it's no drama.
RobinJI
What a crock of shit. I failed because most of the questions had nothing to do with anything relevant to me, but a fair few of the questions were written so poorly that technically speaking the 'correct' answer was its self wrong. 'You can attend a hospital without a GP's letter only in the case of an emergency.' is apparently true. Funny that, because the last 2 times I've 'attended' a hospitals it's not been an emergency, and I've not had any dealings with a GP first, and they were thankful that I visited. (I donated blood for a medical trial, and I escorted/helped a friend who'd damaged their hand 2 days before.) 'Which of the following statements is correct?: - Information in the census is imediately avaliable for the public to search - Information in the census is kept secret for 100 years" Well that'd depend on your definition of 'information', statistical information's available basically straight away, just not personal information. In fact they used some of it in an earlier question...

AndrewEH1
Fail Questions answered correctly: 11 out of 24 (46%) Time taken: 03 minutes 12 seconds Here's me hoping I get deported to sunnier climes, but knowing I'll get sent to Russia... Most of the questions are completely irrelevant 'wrong' as Robin has said. I don't care when woman were given the vote - all that matters is that they can vote. isitafox
I've just had a rethink about this (did it last night and got 50%) and I've realised it's absolute genius!
JD™
I bet I'd get worse grades at GCSE maths than I got at the time if I was just linked to it now. Just like any test, there will be learning and revision time for those who want to take this test. Also just like any test, it's completely irrelevant to the things it gives you access to. So I didn't take it
Muel
It's rediculous, it's so hard even British citizens can't pass it, so how is anyone else going to pass it?
Mule
It's rediculous, it's so hard even British citizens can't pass it, so how is anyone else going to pass it? We dont study for it! isitafox
It's rediculous, it's so hard even British citizens can't pass it, so how is anyone else going to pass it? Exactly, sheer genius. monkeyseemonkeydo
We dont study for it! That's it- I take it there's a little booklet that has all the answers in it and you just have to remember them, I did it quickly this morning and got 10/24 in 4 minutes and quite honestly don't know whic ones I got right and which ones I got wrong they were so obscure and for the most part irrelevant. Edit: Actually, is that really the official practice test thing? Surely it should be in a .gov.uk domain?
Muel
Exactly, sheer genius. A surefire way to kerb the mass of non Brits absolutely draining our public services! 11% of foreign born people are on the dole, meaning 89% are not. You can assume then, that this will only serve to upset 89% of people who are trying to come here to make a better life. Genius? It's bordering on total f**kwittery of the highest order, sir! No idea how real it is to be honest, maybe the BNP set it up in an attempt to put people off from coming here.
