N.Wood
Say you lost all income tomorrow, and your expenditure stayed the same, how long could you keep it up before you had no money left?

isitafox
I'd be screwed, earn just enough to last the month. Usually last few days before payday we're absolutely skint!
AndrewEH1
2-3 months, so not too bad really although I need to start squirrelling away more if I want to do what I plan to do. Although I am single and have no dependants. Edited January 28, 2013 by AndrewEH1

CalRobbo341
Considering it was payday today, I have been payed and I have been saving up for car insurance, i'm going to take a guess at 6-7 months? edit - I guess it is different for me being 17 and only paying out £100 a month as my 'keep' Edited January 28, 2013 by CalRobbo341
dezmtber
Sell everything maybe last me 2-3 months so I can keep the house

forteh
I have up to 6 months income loss protection to pay the mortgage, so with savings that wouldn't be any issue. If it were an injury/illness causing loss of earnings then that's also covered by insurance Aswell as selling assets I reckon 9 months wouldn't be impossible. N.Wood
Ok I don't mean any Bear Grylls shit I basically mean do you live cheque to cheque or do you have money saved up for the future.
Muel
I'm not working, I'm at uni, but the answer is roughly 3 months if I don't run to Daddy. When I was working last it was about the same.

BradJohnson
I regret to say i'm quite dependant on my parents so I could last happily. It's quite selfish but my money only go's on luxurys Eg) Bike parts, Nights out, travel to group rides. But I do pay my keep when ever I do over time. Duncy H
I quit my job a few days before Christmas. I'm doing Alrite since and to be honest even though I can't afford to splash out on things like I used to I am enjoying myself more.
Simon
If i lost it the day after pay day, 2 months. If i lost it any other time, ie, towards the end of the money before the next pay day, i wouldn't last till the next month.
JT!
When the bills needed to be paid, I got them covered, but by next month I'd be screwed.
TROYston
I would be more screwed mentally I think. As long as I could sign on it would be ok, But the car would go. I basically live on my own and managed on 20-50 a week for myself when I'm on jsa. Just have to buy what's important!
