Ali C
they don't say what size piston they use.....could be ~9mm like disc levers and they could have moved the pivot in the lever to decrease the mechanical advantage (doesn't look it it's moved much though which could mean it's spongy) or it could have a normal 14mm piston. Still would rather have a V brake.

LiamWood!
Look very interesting indeed. Says 5% more breaking power too.
Andeee
TPA design looks interesting! Remind me of Hayes stroker trails from 2008
Mark W
someone pleeeeaaaase tell me its not carbotecture. stolen echo tpa design haha It's probably safe to assume it is, which isn't really the end of the world. With a good bleed and good setup the current HS11s/33s don't feel too bad, and Ali's MT2 had a really nice lever feel and seemed to work amazingly well for what's a comparatively cheap brake. SamKidney
Still massively prefer the 05's.

SamKidney
Why? I think both the 2011, and this 2014 model look awful. I can't comment on feel as I've never ran the 2014, obviously, but I have tried the 2011 Hs11's and 33's and while they're not bad, I prefer the feel of an 05. Even more so now I can get cnc'd alternatives. Edited January 28, 2013 by Echo Lite
ghostrider88
I would say there are very simmilar to 05 just more refined with less weak spots. Edited January 28, 2013 by ghostrider88
