monkeyseemonkeydo
Any Nitromors you buy now will have had all the good stuff (read nasty chemicals that were good at removing paint) removed making it far less effective. I think you'll need to look for a more industrial stripper to work on anything beyond rattle can paint jobs now.
SamKidney
You'd still have to raw it first, and once you go through all that effort you'll want to keep that gorgeous frame raw Not much effort needed at all if you get decent paint stripper Less effort really, I wouldnt have to polish it... mod_biker_barney
Is it possible to anodise chrome? Or a very bright and vibrant silver?
CC12345678910
yes. but it isn't UV stable yet according to the moto programme I watched it on a couple of weeks ago. He (the powdercoat/anodizing wiz) said he was experimenting though... Edited January 30, 2013 by CC12345678910
AkuskaUK
needs laser etching to be legit.. The silver parts would have laser etching already done!
Blake
The silver parts would have laser etching already done! yes but then you'd anodize over the etch
Jake.
The silver parts would have laser etching already done! I don't think it works that way round, you can take it off with caustic and keep the logos and laser stuff because it's burnt into it a little. But when anodizing it, it covers everything.
