trials hoe Posted January 18, 2013 Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) right, so i have tr levers and im looking to get the master cylinder bit out. when the levers are loose on the bars the silver (bit in the pic) can rotate freely, but i can't see how it comes out. it can't be fixed in if its able to rotate like it can when the levers aren't clamped up tight on the bars. anyone know how it all comes apart? silver bit in the pic below so you all know what i'm on about. any help would be appreciated guys cheers chris edit - fook me that pics huge Edited January 18, 2013 by trials hoe Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

trials hoe Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 pics works for me, tried it in a different browser and its still there. with out the lever blade in it will push out a few mm, but not all the way. could the body be a bit crimped on to the cylinder maybe? it moves a bit and stops like its got a ridge in it or something. or should i pry the body open a bit and give it a harder push? i'm not a fan of forcing things, so i thought id ask. but its the way i thought it would come out. You could use the same technique that is used to put riser bars into a two bolt stem, that would allow you to gradually open the clamp.
