dezmtber
I have been out in the snow today and was do suprized to find Nt schwalbe fat Albert gripped really well to a rock gap which had a two layer snow setup. There was half melted the frozen snow/ice covered in regular snow. But i still managed a 5' gap from one rock to the other with out wheel spinning or sliding on landing. Anyone got any tips on types of snowy surfaces that are dodgy
Danny00135
Funnily enough it's the roads that get me... slight tweak of your front wheel at speed and your gone
SamKidney
You must have been lucky. My Fat Albert was poor in the wet, never mind snow/ice/frost. Anything in winter really. Best to have a good look at what your planning on riding, and seeing whats underneath the snow. I was caught out last year trying to sidehop a wall which appeared to have just snow on it, but had a layer of ice beneath it. Check every time now... Shame Try-All dont do their tyre in 24", or that Conti haven't released theirs yet. I might not have been so hasty to leave 24" if it were different.
