bing
I run tryall rage hi risers, and a 165 x 35 stem, mine are tilted very slightly past 35 degrees, so when you look side on, the rake points straight up. then when I'm on the back wheel, my wrists feel like they are at the right angle
Jake.
I'm the same as bing. Feels spot on.
Danny00135
I wonder how long it will take before back sweep starts to be called forward sweep...
SamKidney
Mine are just at 35* with highrise bars, Tiny bit of backsweep on two wheels. Super nice on the rear and for front wheel moves too.
BradJohnson
Whilst we are on the bar subject. Whats stopping someone from making bars with no back sweep. Why is back sweep needed? Ignore the noob question! Edited January 16, 2013 by BradJohnson

SamKidney
Because bars without backsweep would be rank. Hold your hands out like you would grip a bar and look at the angle your knuckles follow. Then you'll see why they're designed with backsweep. To be comfortable and put your wrists in a more natural position. I think.
BradJohnson
When used as backsweep.. it's more comfortable.. Ah now I think of it your wrists would probably give up on life.

ghostrider88
Totally agree, USD bars are silly! Mine are a tad over being inline with the stem. I would classify yours as silly as it gets.

J.KYDD
I'm SO bored of this f**king subject. Some like it, some dont. I can't ride with my bars at a stupid angle, but Onza rider Joe Seddon who's only 5' 8 is really getting on with it (admittedly his aren't as extreme as Carthy's) Surely that's it
Joe Papasnap Maher
Im 5.8 and my bars are rolled rolled..Not carthyesque..but defo enough to classed as forward. Love it..Much nicer on rear rear...much nicer going to front..and can still manual no problems
