Revolver
What does everyone want to do in life? As in what career would you like to follow? Do you want to have your own business? Volunteer in the rain forest for 30 years? And finally, what are you currently doing/could be doing to make this happen? Career? I don't feel like I care about that much. Sure, I want a job with good money but I don't have this really strong ambition for anything. All my ambitions are short-lived. As such, I have picked a route that I think will be interesting to me and I hope can keep my attention. I did a multimedia degree, I ended up learning 3D animation and I enjoy it for the most part so I'm doing a master's degree in it, partially to give me an edge over my old coursemates with their lowly BAs, and partially because I don't feel ready for a job yet so I'm getting in a lot of practice in this year whilst having something CV-wise to show for it. In a more general sense there are a few things that I want to complete. In fact, I wrote a bucket list last year and this is one thing I want to complete. There are a few more personal things I want to achieve which I'm working on but that shit is some long term shit.
Andeee
I just want a stress free life. I don't want to run a business, I don't want to give my life to a career. How possible this is I don't know, but that's what I want. But if we all thought in that manner then there would be nothing in this world...like for example No tartybikes and especially no inspired bicycles. weirdoku
Live in a friggin' awesome tree house in a jungle somewhere, away from the city and just live a peaceful quiet life. A good woman who's willing to come with me is a bonus.

Max Quinn
I just want someone to be inspired by something I've done in the same way century old music, literature and art have inspired me. Sounds cheesy but whatever, I want to leave some sort of mark on this world bigger than earning my boss a bit more money.I want to do community work with kids in the UK. I want to promote real hip hop to them as a means of creativity and stress relief, encourage it as an educational tool to promote an interest in words and literature.I want to grow up happy with my mates still around me.I want to be a dad, a f**king good one at that.I want the love of a queen.I want to see the world. From the worlds eye's preferably.I want to never succumb to the 'uni years are the best of your life' bullshit that I've already disproved since leaving and make sure every year is better than the last.I want some idea of how to do all this. JDâ„¢
I want people who don't want to leave a mark on the world to come make me a bit more money Nah, in all seriousness the only thing I've ever really wanted is that 'perfect family' thing. I've practically ran around with a pillowcase on my head for the last 10 years, yet noones made me a bride.

HippY
Career: working with computer hardwares, maybe as an hw engineer, system/network builder, anything like that. If i would have this job, then i wont need to work a day, i would do my hobby in big for money. There is good money in there. Get cars, a high end computer (seriously because of my job ), a nice house. Get married with someone who i love. Children? no, i am really concerned about that i would be the shittiest dad in the world. that is for sure. For retirement? usuals, grow a beard, get some tattoo, and tell my grandchildren (if there will be any) that i was a hells angel rider, a big badass. aww yea, sweet dreams. You're right, the days of listening to you breeze about cars in every thread were much more interesting then genuine decent topics like life goals and JTs one the other day.Pretending to report you to the police was pretty entertaining though admittedly.

eddbmxdude
I did an apprenticship in engineering and got my HNC. Had a fiance and shared a flat with her. Had a deskjob in a design office for 6 years. Everything went tits up with the girl and the job got mundane and I started to hate being stuck in the rat race. It was so dull and everyday I would daydream about just being outside and riding. One day I realised that I could be stuck in a job like that forever and look back on my life with regret, so I handed in my notice. Was the scariest thing I've ever done but definitely the best decision I've ever made. Im now doing a media course, I've always wanted to make sick riding videos and I'm setting up Voodoo Unicycles to earn me money to live on. The work is unreliable and jobs are few and far between at the moment. Im living in a cabin at the bottom of my parents garden and I can barely afford fuel to go riding but I am really happy. I actually enjoy living on a shoestring budget. When you can't afford to buy anything it really makes you appreciate the value of money. Im planning on building up Voodoo, starting after schools clubs teaching kids how to ride, more demos and hopefully get some international work to allow me to travel. I just don't want to settle for a 'normal' life. Almost went down that path and it just doesn't appeal to me.
Max Quinn
Edd: Good on you man fair play. Has anyone else had moments that really changed their outlook on life like that?I got a gun pushed into my gut by some kiddy in Brazil which is a moment I think of as heavily changing the way I approach things. Wouldn't really admit it at the time and laughed it all off, but it definitely put a scare into me and made me think about a lot, bit of a wake up call. Haha, what was that for? Can't really remember the whole story to be honest, was a good few years ago. It was something to do with cars and brake checking, either he savagely brake checked someone who was behind him and caused a crash, or he went straight into the back of someone who was break checking him on purpose or something. Either way, it was really dumb so I got on the wind up for a little bit pretending the police were on the way to his house haha. Now I work full time and it's very fulfilling at the moment. However I believe it'll plateau eventually when I've filled my boots and that's when I'll look into going back travelling. I think about it now, but maybe I need to let go of my future.

You can't remember it because it never happened or it wasn't actually me. You are literally talking out of your arse... Not to mention, even if it was me I have never been thick enough to fall for some chump on the interwebs. As I said, like reading the Daily Mail. Pashley26
Defo wasn't Jason, I would remember. I think it /might/ have been one of the northern lot. Absolute it wasn't myself though, but I do remember talk of somebody with a Land Rover brake checking a car and them running into the rear bumper/tow bar? Max Quinn
Admittedly I just looked back through my PMs and it was that Hendrix guy. All you car lot are one entity to me haha.I think that was perhaps my tf higlight, other than the forward roll challenge competition. And the whole 'Mansfield Amphitheatre Showdown' debacle, that was a ruddy good laugh too.But the point still stands, this thread is more interesting then anything I've ever seen you post.
