Blake
Yeah don't get that shit on your pads. or rim
dannytrialskid
Wd40 This. What I did is got some long nose pliers and pulled the piston out a little to loosen it off. Spray a little bit of WD40 on the piston and pull the piston in and out with the pliers. You will probably see a load of shit come out of there. Now mine works great! Danny00135
or take an old pad put it in the slave that works, place it in a vice (gentle) when you pull in the lever the piston (in the bad one) will come out all the way... spray the sh*t out of it. Just a lot easier to pump the break instead of messing around with pliers, also you wont damage it this way

Blake
Put your finger on the good slave, hold it in while pumping the lever, the bad piston will be pushed out further, soak it.
Azarathal
Use a ziptie and do them one at a time? Easier than a vice
ashleys sugden
gonna use a zip tie, the brake is on the bike, just need to drop the back wheel out and get the pads off Use a ziptie and do them one at a time? Easier than a vice

dezmtber
just use disc brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner then you can just drown the brake including the pads and rim without effecting the bite or brake brake surface. http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/320892803474?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y £3 a tin will clean your brakes 20-30 times

Azarathal
I know it's "safe to use on pads" but I always found if it got on my rim or disc brake pads they were never the same
FamilyBiker
you´ll never sort it perfectly unless you´re going to get two slaves with the same spring ratio, wich even is impossible for magura employees obviously haha you could warm the slave with a heat gun(from opposite to the piston!!!),while the pistons pulled out by something,to relax the spring of the good one,but thats only if theres no oil inside(taken apart) Edited January 3, 2013 by FamilyBiker
