ashleys sugden
as it says in title, im fed up with faffing about with rim brakes, i always have problems with them and they dont last long, my front disc is amazing, and ive never had any problems with disc brakes, just wondering if anybody knows if they are producing a frame with disc mounts and rim brake mounts? Azarathal
I hope so, highly doubt it though. Only options for rear disc atm are the Curve24 and Neon Bow24

dannytrialskid
Could always buy the frame, send it to JAF bikes and get him to put on a disc mount and ask him to take off the hs33 mounts.
Azarathal
Welding a disc mount on an alu frame wont end well. Jake hicky did it on his maladie / manus (can't remember which) and it tore off iirc

Could easily be done with 2 bolts through the frame or even better a mount that attaches with a bracket instead to go around the frame holding it on. Also get him to carbon wrap it and it will easily be strong enough for a disc as the carbon will divert all the stress away from the mount ect. shercofray
JAF don't currently have the ability to attach a disk mount. Well they didn't when I asked a couple of months ago, but Josh is looking into it.
