stunt man t
monty ones were the lightest at around 400g the old SL's were heavy
ghostrider88
There are lighter cranks and they don´t have weight limit, I don´t see the reason why these should have, I bet they are MUCH stronger/stiffer than those lighter cranks. But my ankles hurt just looking at them lol.

AdamR28
The problem with the Rockman ones was availability of sprockets - they appear to have some on their price list now, so we may get some, providing the sprockets aren't shite. isitafox
I'll be going with the Echo I think, are you gonna be stocking those Ads or if not would you be able to get hold of them?
bing
Love those cranks, it'd be worth getting them for me, I'm not a heavy duty rider, and they look ace
AdamR28
Only 135mm disc are on the price list. Must be for that abomination of a 24" street bike... Just checked our latest order (due to arrive tomorrow - we placed it in October, gotta love the trials industry...) and there are none on it unfortunately. I'll give Stan a slap tomorrow.
isitafox
No worries, it'll be at least February before I have the cash available for one but it is the 135mm disc version I'll be after
dngr2self
What are the benefits of splined hubs compared to screw on.
SamKidney
Andrei's cranks are cut out 2010 TRs. Seen a pic of them on facebook and the area by the splines is different to that shown on the new ones, as is the end of the crank.<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="dngr2self" data-cid="2475577" data-time="1356645321">
What are the benefits of splined hubs compared to screw on.

Easier removal.

Sponge
Just a neutral question curious for an objective answer: in practice did any 2009 SL cranks actually end up snapping? (despite the same arguments against like with these 2013 versions). As far as I'm aware, I've heard of none breaking. That being said aluminium trials cranks breaking in two pieces isn't something you really ever hear of. Usually they get thread-stripped to death before they're weakened enough over the years. Exactly, Drei has been running these cranks for about 6 months and given them a hammering with no issues, i don't think you have anything to worry about Andeee; unless...... you throw like a girl....?
SamKidney
Those cranks are the shit. I had a set on an 06 Czar 2 years ago or so. Wish I'd kept them now

Andeee
I think i would much prefer me trialtechs weighing in at 520g to cater for my build and weight at 14.10 stone. Having cranks with mods n god knows what else seems crazy and a higher chance of breaking due to most of the power going through your cranks in trials.
