Joe O'Connor
Hey dudes, I got a new Gopro Hero 2 and when I was charging it I pushed the power on button and the screen flashed black for a few seconds and the charge light went off. After a bit of playing around I got it to charge again. Few hours later now and the light has gone off so I'm presuming its charged up (I thought it would've taken longer honestly), but it wont turn on. Nothing I can do gets it to go. I've done the whole, take the battery out and put it back in and what not but no luck. Anyone have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong or if its a dud camera? Thanks guys P.S Merry Christmas from here in New Zealand, its a beautiful summers day here
williams
Hmmm.. I've had a Go-pro2, anyway you do know that you have too hold the middle button pressed in for like 3 seconds?
PaRtZ
have you got a friemd with one so you can try thier battery? Obviously if it works with a different battery then its only the battery thats fooked. In any case you can probably send it away to be repaired.. Joe O'Connor
Yeah I tried it with my mates battery and nothing happened, he tried my battery and it worked. So it only left the camera itself. I took it back into the shop I got it from and they are gonna contact Gopro and sort it. Only a day old and its busted
AdamR28
They can usually be sorted. Have a look on the net for instructions, I would guess you need to delete the firmware file from the memory card and download an older one, then put it directly onto your SD card rather than using the update software.
